A commercial satellite, the first ever built in Poland, is expected to enter into orbit in early 2018.

Weighing two kilograms, it was built by SatRevolution and is named afer the Slavic god Światowid.

It will measure cosmic radiation and electromagnetic interference and is expected to pave the way for further commercial satelites, with various tasks, in Earth's orbit.
