Cautious economic growth forecasts for Poland are coming from Brussels but Warsaw is far more optimistic.

Sławek Szefs reports that this could serve as a brief summary of the latest perspectives outlined by the European Commission and Polish government predictions with regard to domestic GDP.
“Private consumption would be the dominant driver, supported by rising wages and, also in 2017, by the effects of a new universal child benefit,” said Pierre Moscovici, European Commissioner for Economic and Financial Affairs, while presenting the EC update in Brussels.
