OFFSIDE :: Rising popularity of lacrosse in Poland
Lacrosse is gaining more and more popularity in central Europe with the sport being included in the program of the World Games 2017 in Wroclaw this summer.

Lacrosse first appeared in Poland in the second half of the 2000’s with the first teams being the Poznan Hussars and Kosynierzy Wrocław. The first official game on Polish soil was played in 2008. In 2010 Poland made a debute at the World Championships in Manchester, taking 14th place.
