Mickiewicz's 'Dziady' translated into English
One of the greatest works of European literary Romanticism, “Dziady” by Adam Mickiewicz has been translated to English, 195 years after it was written.

Adam Mickiewicz (24 December 1798 - 26 November 1855) was one of the major figures of Polish Romanticism, a poet, dramatist, essayist, publicist, translator, professor of Slavic literature, and political activist.
Generally acclaimed as Poland’s greatest poet, one of the so-called “Three Bards”, and often compared to Byron and Goethe. He is the author of the four-part poetic drama “Dziady” (the first part of which was published in 1822), and the epic poem “Pan Tadeusz” (1834).
