Researching obesity in dogs
Dogs share their life with people. And very often they are as fat as their owners. But there are some breeds more predisposed to obesity than others.

Scientists from the Poznań University of Life Sciences are trying to pinpoint the type of genes responsible for obesity in labradors. Their research involves 300 dogs. In the future, the findings could help improve medical treatment for humans.
