  • Poland reassured by UK PM about Polish citizens’ rights
The head of Poland's governing Law and Justice party, Jarosław Kaczyński, met British Prime Minister Theresa May in London on Thursday, just days ahead of the planned notification by the UK of its intention to launch Brexit proceedings.

As Michał Owczarek reports, the main topic of their talks was the future status of Polish citizens living in the UK after Brexit.

“We have been assured that in the first phase of the negotiations, the UK will want to take care of the matter positively... of course based on the reciprocity principle, as the issue concerns the whole EU, not only Poland, ” Kaczyński said.
