Poland to import LNG from the US
Poland has signed a deal to import liquefied natural gas (LNG) from the US in a bid to diversify its energy sources.

Krzysztof Szczerski, the head of the Polish president's office, who's currently in the US, said: "We have taken a serious step towards the diversification of Poland's gas sources".
"For the first time, a deal was signed for a shipment of American LNG to Poland," he added.
Poland will be the first country in the region to receive a one-off shipment of liquefied natural gas from the US.
