Catholics make up about 18% of the region’s population, including majorities of adults in Poland, Croatia, Lithuania and Hungary - a study by Pew Research Center found.

The study was conducted in collaboration with the Polish Institute of catholic Churhc Statistics from June 2015 to July 2016 in 17 languages with more than 25,000 adults ages 18 and older in 18 countries. More info can be found at: www.pewforum.org.
