EU Commission programme promotes sustainability

Sławek Szefs reports the initiative, supported by the European Commission, aims to promote sustainable tourist development models across the EU.

In Poland the competition is organised by the Polish Tourist Organization (POT) in collaboration with the Ministry of Sports and Tourism.

"This is a very worthy initiative because, on the one hand, it allows Poles to discover their own country and, on the other, it helps Poland in advancing its position on the European as well as global tourist market,” says Marek Olszewski, president of POT.
