Sławek Szefs reports that the Conservatives lost their hitherto majority, while Labour registered considerable gains.
Also, as a result of the election, the position of Theresa May in Brexit negotiations with Brussels could become more complicated.
“Perhaps, due to the loss of parliamentary majority, the British team of negotiators will have to be altered and it is not known who will hold responsibility for specific areas of negotiations,” Patryk Toporowski from the Polish Institute of International Affairs told Polish Radio.
This, in consequence, may lead to a serious crisis in the talks which are planned to commence in barely ten days from now.
