Indonesia's Coordinating Maritime Affairs Minister Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan has paid a working visit to Poland during which he participated in the 5th International Maritime Congress in Szczecin.

During his visit, Pandjaitan met various Polish government officials, including deputy Defense Minister Bartosz Kownacki and deputy Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki.

Minister Pandjaitan also discussed several issues, including setting up direct flights between Indonesia and Poland, the potential for future cooperation in higher education between the two countries and partnerships to develop waste-to-energy sources.

“People in Indonesia love Polish technology because you are very humble, but your technology is very advanced" Minister Pandjaitan told Polish Radio's Karol Tokarczyk
