Speaking in the House of Commons, British Prime Minister Theresa May presented her government's proposals for defining the rights of EU citizens, including Poles, in the UK after Brexit.

May refused to reveal the exact date after which new arrivals are no longer guaranteed the status, saying it is yet to be determined.
The date is dependent on further negotiations with the EU, but May said it should be set between 29 March 2017 and 29 March 2019.
