Polish Radio Chopin to launch on 1 October

Polish Radio has announced the launch of a special channel dedicated to Frederic Chopin.

“This is a special event for us, because Frederic Chopin equals Polish Radio - just listen, there is no Polish Radio […] without Frederic Chopin,” said the director of Polish Radio’s Programming Bureau, Paweł Kwieciński.

The launch is part of celebrations of the 80th anniversary of culture-oriented Channel Two – and precedes celebrations of the centennial of Poland’s independence in 2018.
