Polish opera staged in London
"Merchant of Venice", Polish pianist and composer André Tchaikowsky's only opera, gathered tumultuous applause at the prestigious Royal Opera House in London on Wednesday evening.

The tale of tension between the law and mercy had its premiere very recently in 2013 and - due to its complexity - has been rarely staged.
On Thursday, Londoners will be able to see another performance by the Welsh National Opera.
