Poland ended the world championships in London with two gold, two silver and four bronze medals.

Poland won bronze in the women's 4 x 400-metres relay as the athletics world championships came to a close in London on Sunday, taking Poland's medal tally to eight. Gold medals were awarded to Anita Włodarczyk for the women's hammer throw and Paweł Fajdek won gold in the men's hammer throw. Silver medals went to Adam Kszczot for the 800-metre race and Piotr Lisek for the pole vault. Women's hammer throw and men's hammer throw bronze medals went to Malwina Kopron and Wojciech Nowicki, respectively, while Kamila Lićwinko won a bronze medal in the high jump.
