Milllions of tourists visit Warsaw
Nearly ten million visitors flocked to the Polish capital last year, including some three million foreigners, according to a recent report entitled Tourism in Warsaw.

Some 12 percent of the tourists were from Britain, 11 percent from Germany and seven percent from France.
The tourism sector contributed nearly EUR four billion (PLN 17 billion) to the Polish capital’s GDP last year, according to the report.
But when it comes to Warsaw’s image as a tourist destination there is still a great number of stereotypes that hold the city down.
The Warsaw Tourist Office has just launched a new promotional testimonial to challenge such clichés. Radio Poland looked at the promo with the office’s Joanna Wiśniewska.
