Poland marks 78th anniversary of Soviet invasion
As Poland marked the 78th anniversary of Soviet invasion on Sunday, the Warsaw-based Witold Pilecki Center for Totalitarian Studies once again extended its online database of testimonies by Polish victims of totalitarian regimes.

"Chronicles of Terror," an online database of civilian testimonies from occupied Europe, aims to keep the memory of the victims of totalitarian regimes alive.
Over 500 new testimonies were added to the archives on Sunday.
Tomasz Stefanek, from the Witold Pilecki Center for Totalitarian Studies, said the "Polish experience of facing two totalitarian regimes" in the last century was crucial to "understanding what totalitarianism really is."
