Polish charity sends aid to Somalia, South Sudan
A Polish charity has responded to the humanitarian crisis in Somalia and South Sudan where some 12 million people are threatened with famine.
Agnieszka Bielawska reports that the Polish Humanitarian Action has responded to the situation providing aid to over 100,000 people.
“The situation continues to deteriorate because of many tensions between tribes and, additionally, the big food crisis,” said Monika Korowajczyk-Sujkowska, head of the Polish Humanitarian Action’s Aid Department.
