Polish president's US visit

Polish President Andrzej Duda on Tuesday addressed the 72nd session of the United Nations General Assembly and met with US President Donald Trump and his wife Melania in New York.

During his visit to the US, Duda thanked UN member countries for electing Poland as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council in 2018-2019.

"We perceive this choice ... both as an honour and an obligation," Duda said.
