Poland’s prime minister and her Czech, Slovak and Hungarian counterparts met European Commission chief Jean-Claude Juncker to discuss the energy market and migration crisis.

“Hardly ever or maybe never have I witnessed consultations at this level being so frank and detailed…I think this shows openness on either side, which is to be credited not only to the Polish prime minister and the other V4 leaders but also to president Juncker…” said Poland’s deputy foreign minister Konrad Szymański.

The Visegrad Group, or V4, is a partnership between Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia.
