Poland's biggest airport to be shut down
Warsaw’s Chopin airport, currently the biggest in Poland, is to be shut down by 2027, government officials have said.

As Michał Owczarek reports, the fate of the site will mainly be sealed by the opening of the planned Central Airport, the largest infrastructure project contemplated for Central and Eastern Europe.
“Growing numbers of passengers would affect traffic in the area… Already now it can be said that a travel to the airport from the city centre is greatly hampered,” said Mariusz Szpikowski, the director of the Chopin Airport.
