Polish team for dialogue off to Israel

Sławek Szefs reports on the considerable tension over historical issues and their possible effects on Poland’s bilateral relations with other countries such as the United States.

"We will work towards assuring the Polish and Israeli societies that Poland stands in favour of presenting historical truth and that there remain no doubts as to allowing freedom of relevant historical research," said Bartosz Cichocki, deputy foreign minister and head of the Polish delegation, before leaving for Israel.
