Polish and Israeli diplomats met in Jerusalem on Thursday in an effort to overcome differences regarding a controversial Holocaust speech law passed in Poland that has raised concerns among Jews internationally.

“The Polish and Israeli perspectives are disparate. [Jews] don’t realise that as the war grows more distant, more and more people mistakenly believe that Poles, too, were the perpetrators of the Holocaust,” said Bronisław Wildstein, a member of the Polish delegation.
