The national commemorations of the 50th anniversary of the events of March 1968 feature a wide range of events, including theatre performances, art shows, debates and concerts. Events will be held in Warsaw and seven other cities nationwide.

The project kicks off at the National Philharmonic in the Polish capital on Tuesday night with a concert featuring Danish violinist Nicolai Znaider, whose parents were forced to emigrate from Poland in March 1968 following an anti-Semitic campaign by the country’s then-communist authorities.
