EU official visits Warsaw to discuss legal changes
European Commission First Vice-President Frans Timmermans visited Warsaw on Monday to hold talks on the rule of law in Poland following disputed legal changes carried out by the country's conservative government.

Presidential chief of staff Krzysztof Szczerski said that the conversation between him and Timmermans was "focused on details, about the interpretation and understanding of certain regulations, and not about the overall sense of the reform" of Poland's justice system.
