Meet the tax office staff with sign language skills
The staff of a Tax Office in the city of Radom in central Poland were the first in the country to come out with an initiative to assist deaf-mute people visiting their institution.

Sławek Szefs reports the move came in response to the expectations of people with impaired hearing and speech ability.
"Presently, when at least some of the office staff has completed sign language courses and are capable of communicating, the first impression created by a simple 'Hello, can I help you?' is of great positive significance,” says Ewa Bernat from the Radom Chapter of the Polish Association of the Deaf.
