A conference presenting business opportunities for Polish companies in Tanzania was held on Tuesday at the National Chamber of Commerce in Warsaw.

The event was organised two weeks after the Polish Embassy in Dar es Salaam had been re-opened to facilitate economic links, provide aid, and deliver consular assistance to Polish citizens in the region.

Danuta Isler spoke to Eugeniusz Rzewuski, former charge d'affaires at the Polish Embassy in Tanzania, Jan Wielinski, former Ambassador to Zimbabwe, Robert Zdunczyk, the founder and president of the Poland-East Africa Economic Foundation currently doing projects in Tanzania, as well as Jerzy Drożdż, the director of the foreign relations department at the National Chamber of Commerce in Warsaw, to find out more about east African opportunities.
