Former New Jersey mayor on trans-Atlantic spat
A former New Jersey mayor has said he is optimistic that a positive resolution to an ongoing trans-Atlantic spat can be achieved.
Douglas Palmer told Polish Radio's Washington correspondent Marek Wałkuski that dialogue between the Polish community and mayor of Jersey City could see a positive outcome to controversy around the possible removal of a statue honouring 20,000 Poles massacred by the Soviets in 1940.
