Precious finds at ancient Polish site
Archeologists and explorers armed with metal detectors are scanning the area around Lake Lednica, a site dating back to the earliest days of Polish statehood.

More than 600 metal objects, some of them dating to medieval times, have been unearthed in the area since March.
The finds are the result of a team-up between archeologists from the Museum of the Piast Dynasty and explorers investigating this historical site in central-western Poland.
