Warsaw backs Trump over Russian pipeline
Following this week’s NATO summit in Brussels, top Polish officials have backed US President Donald Trump in his broadside against the planned Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline under the Baltic Sea.

The controversial link is to run from Russia to Germany, circumventing Poland.
“US officials have advised me not to believe claims that the Nord Stream 2 project was underway and could not be stopped,” said Polish foreign minister Jacek Czaputowicz.
