Opening in UK cinemas on Friday is a new Polish film about the heroic role of Polish pilots in the Battle of Britain.

Directed by Denis Delić, 303 Squadron is the World War II drama which tells the true story of the Polish pilots of 303 Squadron, the forgotten legends and their incalculable contribution towards Britain’s victory against the Luftwaffe.

The screenplay is based on a book by Polish writer Arkady Fiedler who conducted extensive interviews with pilots in England during the war.
