The European Parliament’s transport committee on Thursday rejected two out of three proposals of a so-called mobility package which Polish hauliers said could drive them out of business.

Poland's infrastructure minister Andrzej Adamczyk said the proposals were harmful to Poland's interest.
"We cannot agree to include protectionist policies in these regulations, because they aim to make Polish companies less competitive," Adamczyk added.
