Iran’s envoy slams Poland over planned summit

Iran’s ambassador to Poland has criticised the government in Warsaw for organising a Middle East conference sponsored by the United States.

Masoud Edrisi Kermanshahi told Polish Radio on Thursday that "Iran did not expect the Polish government to co-organise a conference that is anti-Iranian."

The Polish foreign ministry has said the February 13-14 conference, which Poland is organising in Warsaw together with the United States, aims to "promote a future of peace and security in the Middle East" and be "a forum for countries concerned about instability in region."
