  • Waldorf school celebrates fifth year in Poznan
We go to the Waldorf school in the western city of Poznan, which has developed the thinking and role of imagination in learning for kids there for the past seven years.
/

The first Waldorf School was founded in Stuttgart, Germany in 1919, as a school for children of the employees at the Waldorf-Astoria Cigarette Factory. With more than 1000 such schools opened all over the world, they are known also as Steiner schools for the connections between the pedagogy and philosophy of Austrian Rudolf Steiner.

What do they look like today - after 100 years of history? Still artistic, focused on developing thinking, and the role of imagination in learning. The Waldorf School in Poznań has existed for 7 years. Correspondent Kalina Olejniczak visited it and talked to children, parents and teachers there.
