The 'Pink Light of Hope' campaign has been running for 13 years and is sponsored by Estee Lauder group of companies.
In previous years, Warsaw's bridges have been lit in pink as has parts of the Old Town.
The Pink Light of Hope has in the past illuminated the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin, the Control Tower at JFK airport in New York, the Sydney Opera House and the Tower of London among others. (pg)
