Spring arrives in Poland at exactly 12.02 CET, Wednesday, but Poland still looks like deep winter after another blanket of snow fell over the county.

Spring officially begins with the vernal equinox on March 20, when days and nights are approximately equal, and the Sun rises and sets due east and west.
The season lasts officially till 22 June and the summer solstice.
But snowfall of up to 30 cms covered parts of Germany, Poland, Denmark and Belarus on Tuesday, in what is one of the coldest months of March in recent years.
Temperatures on Wednesday will reach a maximum of minus 1 degrees in Warsaw, minus 3 on the Baltic coast and plus one degrees in the south east.
Though Spring has officially arrived, storks have yet to start building nests in Poland, a sign that the season is a few days off, at least, from arriving for real. (pg)
