Ewa Stankiewicz - who set up the Solidarity 2010 organisation after making a documentary of the same name, which claimed that the Polish government had colluded with the Russians in a cover up of the causes of the April 2010 Smolensk air crash which killed President Lech Kaczynski and 95 others – said that Prime Minister Donald Tusk should be put before the State Tribunal.

Solidarity 2010 – closely allied to the opposition Law and Justice (PiS) party led by the late president's twin brother Jaroslaw Kaczynski – refutes conclusions in official investigations by both Poland and Russia that the Smolensk disaster was caused by human error.

Jaroslaw Kaczynski has claimed that the death of his brother was an “assassination”.

Ewa Stankiewicz said that the 'tent city' was part of a new method of campaigning for the organisation.

"The government has completely ignored the songs, balloons and picnics. Therefore, we are changing the method of our operation,” she said. (pg)
