The 35-year-old's death was announced on the actress's web site by her manager Malgorzata Rudowska, who noted that Przybylska had been surrounded by friends and family in her last hours.

The Gdynia-born actress made her cinematic debut in 1997 in Radoslaw Piwowarski's film The Dark Side of Venus (Ciemna Strona Venus).

Piwowarski said on Sunday that in spite of her great success, Przybylska remained unchanged.

“That's what viewers loved most about her,” the director said.

“She was an absolutely real, normal and very family-oriented girl.”

Comedian and actor Cezary Pazura reflected that “it was impossible to dislike Ania.”

The actress leaves a daughter and two sons by her partner footballer Jaroslaw Bieniuk. (nh/pg)
