The body of the 42 year-old man was found 665 metres underground.

Rescuers have been unable to reach the site of the explosion due to a build up of gasses and water in the area.

One other man died from his injuries in hospital after being rescued along with 35 others on 6 October.

Four are said to still be in a critical condition, with up to 80 percent burns in some cases, at the Burns Treatment Center in Siemianowice. (pg)
