Ewa Mielnicka crowned new Miss Poland

Twenty-two-year-old model Ewa Mielnicka has been voted Miss Poland in a competition to find the most beautiful woman in the country.

Nine ladies competed in the final, but the jury decided to award the prize to Mielnicka, who wowed the crowd with her down-to-earth attitude and good looks.
Mielnicka hails from the village of Baba in Masovia and she won the title of Miss Masovia in May.

The competition held in Krynica Zdroj in Southern Poland over the weekend was the 25th edition of the show. (rg)
