It is reported that the women went for men between the ages of 60 and 80, and after charming them in downtown Elblag they would propose to go back home to the men’s apartments.

“Many of the seduced men were burgled as the women would persuade them to take them back home,” police spokesman Jakub Sawicki told broadcaster TVP.

“While in the apartment, one of the women would grab the attention of the man – basically showing him a good time – while the second woman would loot the place,” he added.

The cat burglars managed to accumulate over PLN 12,000 before being accosted by the police.

So far ten men have stepped forward to the authorities in connection with the incidents, although the police think that there may be many more cases. (jb)
