Children's vitamins 'not always healthy'

And while many of these are aimed at children, dieticians warn that they might be doing more harm than good.
“Giving children vitamin supplements interferes with their natural immune system,” Prof. Małgorzata Kozłowska-Wojciecowska old Radio Tok FM.
Metro writes that many parents feel that they are better off being safe than sorry with the health of their children, so they buy vitamins over the counter.
“They gain peace of mind that their actions are for the good of the child, but that does not replace a healthy diet,” dietician Aleksandra Kilen-Zasieczna said. (rg)
