Notorious fraudster pregnant with prison guard

A woman convicted for participation in one of the biggest financial frauds in Polish history is allegedly pregnant with a prison guard.

Katarzyna P. is married to the owner of Amber Gold, a financial pyramid that spectacularly collapsed two years ago. Both have spent the last two years behind bars, daily Dziennik Łódzki said.
They were convicted for defrauding 18,500 people to the tune of close on PLN 1 billion (over EUR 200 million).
The father of the woman’s child is married and has two children, the daily reported.
An investigation has been initiated against him. He faces up to three years in prison. (an)
