A new survey released by pollsters CBOS reveals that over the past month, support for the government has dropped form 37 to 31 percent.

Meanwhile, the number of people voicing views against the government rose by three percentage points from 29 to 32 percent.

The number of respondents who said they were ‘satisfied’ with the cabinet of Prime Minister Ewa Kopacz stood at 36 percent, two percentage points down on March’s figure, although 42 percent of people have a negative opinion of the cabinet.

Almost three-fifths of Poles (58 percent, down two percentage points) believe that Kopacz’s government is not creating an opportunity for the improvement in the economy, although 27 percent are positive about Kopacz’s efforts to improve Poland’s economy.

The survey was undertaken on 16-22 April on a representative selection of 1,027 adult Poles. (jb)
