Army loses drone

The Polish army has lost contact with an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV), the second such case in recent months.

The drone was being used during training manoeuvres in Nadarzyce, .
“Since noone reported finding the drone, or any damage to people or property, we assume that the plane landed far away from human habitation, perhaps in a wooded or lake area,” the website of the Polish armed forces said.
This is not the first time the Polish army has misplaced a drone.
Last year a UAV was lost during training around the town of Toruń. That drone was found around 25 km away from the training site. (rg)
