According to The Aviation Herald, the Embraer ERJ-195 plane from Munich was on its final approach to the Warsaw runway when its crew reported in a “quite aggravated tone” that a drone was pinpointed about 100 metres from the airplane.
Flight staff apparently told those on duty at the Warsaw control tower that the situation was “really dangerous” and that the Poles should “take care” of their airspace.
Staff in Warsaw apparently reponded in an “apologetic” fashion.
The plane landed safely three minutes after the call. (nh)
