President Andrzej Duda had requested such a referendum that would include three questions, namely:

1. Are you "for lowering the retirement age and linking pension entitlements and seniority?";

2. Are you "in favour of maintaining the existing system of functioning of the State Forests National Forest Holding?";

3. Are you "for the abolition of universal mandatory school olds and restoring the general statutory compulsory schooling from the age of seven?"

Against the motion were 53 senators, 35 in favour and two abstained. (jh/rk)

In the proposed referendum by the president Duda Poles would have to answer three questions : whether they are " for lowering the retirement age and linking pension entitlements and seniority " ; whether they are " in favor of maintaining the existing system of functioning of the State Forests National Forest Holding " and whether they are " for the abolition of universal mandatory school olds and restoring the general statutory compulsory schooling from the age of seven ."
