The Polish President said the wigilia (Christmas Eve supper) is a time when “we feel how needed we are and how we should be together [with families]”, in an address to Poles.

The Polish President prompted the nation to remember about those in need during this holiday: the homeless, sick, and the lonely.

The First Lady compared Poland to a large family, which may have its ups and downs, “but when wigilia approaches, love and agreement win over difference of opinion and political views”. (ua/rg)
