The court in the eastern town of Białystok sentenced the three men to 25, 15 and 12 years repectively.
Their 27-year-old victim was repeatedly stabbed in her home in 2009. She was also raped.
The suspects were arrested five years after the killing, following a probe by a police team nicknamed Archiwum X (“The X Files”), which specialises in hard-to-solve crimes. The case had earlier been shelved.
An initial investigation failed to produce convictions, even though over 100 witnesses were questioned and a reconstruction of the crime was shown on television.
Investigators had received misleading information, particularly after media reports about the murder. (pk/rg)
