Poll: 36 percent support Polish government

A new opinion poll carried out by Poland's Centre for Public Opinion Research (CBOS) indicates that there is 36 percent support for the current Polish government among the electorate, up 6 percent since December.

Meanwhile, the level of respondents against the government is 31 percent, down 3 percent since last month.
Some 28 percent of those polled said they were indifferent to the activity of the government.
At the same time, 41 percent of respondents said they were pleased with Prime Minister Beata Szydło's record as leader of the socially conservative Law and Justice government (up 8 percent), while 40 percent said they were not happy with her leadership (down 4 percent).
Of those polled, 19 percent were indifferent.
The survey was carried out between 7-14 January. (nh/pk)
